The roof has been fully seam sealed.
All new suspension bushings have been installed.
The front axle has been installed with a 24 spline differential and a galvanized skid plate.
All parts have been painted inside and out with NAO Expedition Tan.
The underbody brackets have been galvanized.
The underside of the body has been painted to the same standards as the top.
A bulkhead removal bar has been installed.
New side panels with genuine Land Rover sliding windows have been installed.
A genuine Land Rover windshield and windshield gasket have been installed in the frame. Newer style windshield brackets are also installed.
The rebuilt 300tdi is ready for assembly.
The oil pan is ready for installation.

The head was pressure tested and checked for warping, a valve job was done on it, and it was installed on the block with a genuine Land Rover head gasket.

A brand new genuine Land Rover Defender 110 rear axle is ready for installation.
The axle has been installed with new genuine Land Rover heavy duty springs and Koni Heavy Trac shocks.
Here you can see all the galvanized parts that went into this project. Genuine Land Rover heavy duty springs are installed with Disco II genuine Land Rover spring isolators. Adjustable Koni Heavy Trac shocks are installed in the front as well.
The body has been assembled.

A completely new brake and clutch system has been installed.
A rebuilt transmission from Ashcroft is installed. It has their big bearing upgrade and high ratio fifth gear so you can cruise at a speed higher than 65 mph.
The new wiring harness has been installed. This unit is manufactured by Autosparks. The early 80s trucks have a very simple straightforward wiring harness but unfortunately had glass fuses that would corrode and cause intermittent electrical problems. This new harness has the later style blade fuses but is still a nice simple harness.
